Palestine, Zionism, and Empire, Pts. 3 & 4: British Mandated Colonialism (Rerelease)

This is a re-upload of our second set of entries (eps. 42 & 44) of the Palestine, Zionism, and Empire series into a combined episode.  In this episode we move into the years of British Mandate Palestine. Steve narrates the intersection and struggle between the Zionist project, the Palestinian people, and the imperial interests of the Crown. Through a number of contingencies (including British racism, imperial preference, and European guilt post- World War II), the Zionists ended up better equipped and positioned than the Palestinians to execute their own imperial domination of the land.
